General Information

The information, reports, photographs, videos, inventories, documentation, and services provided by Platinum Innovation Homes (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) are for informational and documentation purposes only. While we strive to provide accurate and reliable information, we make no guarantees, warranties, or representations regarding the completeness, accuracy, legality, or future acceptance of any documentation by insurance companies, financial institutions, courts, landlords, tenants, property managers, or third parties.

Our services are intended to assist homeowners, renters, landlords, and property owners with documenting property conditions and personal belongings. We are not an insurance company, public adjuster, attorney, home inspector, engineer, restoration company, or legal advisor.

No Guarantee of Insurance Coverage or Claim Approval

Use of our services does not guarantee:

  • Insurance claim approval
  • Insurance reimbursement
  • Replacement value recovery
  • Legal protection
  • Prevention of disputes
  • Accuracy of third-party valuations
  • Prevention of fraud or damage

Insurance providers determine claim outcomes independently according to policy terms and conditions. Customers are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding their insurance policies.

Third-Party Reliance

Any third party relying on information prepared or stored by Platinum Innovation Homes does so at their own risk. The Company shall not be held liable for decisions made by insurance companies, landlords, tenants, courts, financial institutions, contractors, or any other party based on our documentation or services.

Property Condition Documentation

Our documentation services reflect visible conditions at the time services are performed. We do not guarantee the discovery, identification, or recording of every item, defect, condition, or area of a property.

We are not responsible for:

  • Hidden damages
  • Structural defects
  • Mold
  • Water intrusion
  • Electrical or plumbing issues
  • Code violations
  • Theft
  • Missing items
  • Future property changes
  • Inaccurate customer-provided information

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Platinum Innovation Homes, its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and representatives shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from:

  • Use of our services
  • Loss of data
  • Loss of profits
  • Insurance disputes
  • Property disputes
  • Missed or incomplete documentation
  • Data breaches beyond reasonable control
  • Service interruptions
  • Natural disasters
  • Cyberattacks
  • Equipment failure

Our maximum liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for services rendered within the previous twelve (12) months.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information
  • Maintaining copies of important records when possible
  • Reviewing all documentation provided
  • Notifying us of inaccuracies promptly
  • Maintaining their own insurance coverage
  • Securing valuables and sensitive information during service visits

Subscription Services

If recurring or subscription-based services are offered, customers authorize recurring billing according to agreed pricing terms until cancellation. Platinum Innovation Homes reserves the right to modify pricing, services, storage limits, or subscription terms with reasonable notice where required by law.

Data Storage Disclaimer

While we utilize commercially reasonable security measures, no electronic storage system or internet transmission can be guaranteed 100% secure. Customers acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with digital storage and electronic communication.

Intellectual Property

All reports, templates, systems, branding, logos, photographs, videos, and proprietary processes created by Platinum Innovation Homes remain the intellectual property of the Company unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Customers may use documentation for personal, insurance, or property-related purposes only and may not reproduce, sell, distribute, or commercially exploit Company materials without written consent.

Governing Law

This Disclaimer shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Return & Cancellation Policy

At Platinum Innovation Homes, we are committed to providing reliable, honest, and professional service to every customer. Because many of our services involve scheduled appointments, digital documentation, inspections, and customized reporting, the following Return & Cancellation Policy applies to all customers and partners.

Appointment Cancellations

Customers may cancel or reschedule appointments by providing at least 24 hours notice prior to the scheduled service time.

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the appointment will not incur any fees.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service cost.
  • Same-day cancellations or missed appointments (“no-shows”) may be charged the full service amount.

Subscription & Monthly Service Plans

For customers enrolled in monthly or recurring service plans:

  • Services may be canceled at any time with written notice.
  • Cancellations become effective at the end of the current billing cycle.
  • No partial-month refunds will be issued once a billing cycle has started.
  • Platinum Innovation Homes reserves the right to terminate service agreements for non-payment, misuse of services, or violation of company policies.

Refund Policy

Due to the nature of our documentation, inspection, and digital storage services, refunds are limited once services have been completed.

Refunds may be considered under the following circumstances:

  • Duplicate charges
  • Billing errors
  • Services not rendered as agreed

Refund requests must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the service date.

Digital Files & Documentation

All digital documentation, reports, photographs, videos, inventories, and related records created by Platinum Innovation Homes are considered completed work products once delivered or uploaded to the customer database.

Because these services are customized and non-returnable:

  • Completed digital services are non-refundable.
  • Customers are responsible for reviewing all documentation upon receipt and reporting concerns promptly.

Weather & Emergency Rescheduling

Platinum Innovation Homes reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to severe weather, emergencies, unsafe property conditions, or circumstances beyond our control. Customers will be notified as soon as possible if rescheduling is necessary.

Satisfaction Commitment

Customer satisfaction is important to us. If you believe a service was incomplete or performed improperly, please contact us directly so we can review the issue and work toward a reasonable resolution.
